UNDP side event at the 78th United Nations General Assembly – “Leveraging Agricultural Opportunity for Food Sovereignty on Africa: A Developmental Overview”organized by the United Nations Development Programme Regional Bureau for Africa (RBA). The event will brought together high-level experts to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and strategies to improve Africa’s food sovereignty in a sustainable manner as a pathway to building robust and sustainable food systems. It was an occasion to launch RBA’s policy brief on this topic (including a video summary) and featured panel discussions where Lumbie Mlambo participated on this very important topic for Africa.
