We are looking for 100 Voices for Our Planet.

Could that be you?

The “100 Voices for Our Planet” initiative is a Water Action Agenda published on the UN Partnerships for Goals.

A Voice of Our Planet is someone who is passionate about the way we live, the way we consume natural resources, the way we protect natural resources, the way we make natural resources accessible to human beings, and more. That could be water, sanitation, agriculture, fashion, biogas, etc. etc. For us here at JB Dondolo, we make it easy for people in underserved communities to have adequate access to natural resources for sustainable consumption and good health. What about you? How are you connecting to our planet and being a voice?

Let us do something together that helps people to live better! Donate $10 or more to this global initiative and join our Top 100 Voices of Our Planet! Let’s choose what we do with the funds raised at the Voices for Water Awards where all 100 Voices for Our Planet will be recognized and celebrated.

Best of luck!

“”Educating the public about the importance and value of our natural resources”

Why being environmentally conscious is vital?

In order to lessen the devastation of eco-systems brought on by a variety of manmade activities, it is essential to conserve the environment. Protecting the environment from pollution and other activities that cause environmental degradation is more of a moral imperative for humans.

Living eco-conscious is vital

The ultimate objective is for individuals to begin living intentionally. And this is the only way to save our Planet.

We need the Earth to survive, thus it’s crucial to be environmentally responsible.

Living sustainably is what it means to be eco-conscious. You’ll need to challenge some of your ingrained beliefs about how to live your life and the world in order to adopt a more environmentally responsible way of thinking.

11 Easy Steps You Can Take to Protect the Earth

1. Learn: Continue your education; you may educate others about the significance and worth of our natural resources.

2. Grow a tree. Air and food are produced by trees. They aid in energy conservation, air purification, and halting climate change.

3. Participate in community cleanups by volunteering. You may contribute to the preservation of your watershed.

4. Compost:  The possibility of soil erosion is decreased by composting. It lessens the requirement for fertilizers and pesticides.

5. Avoid putting pesticides in our waterways. Pick non-toxic chemicals for your house and workplace.

6. Choose reusable over single use: Reuse shopping bag and purchase less plastic items.

7. Use less water. The less water you consume, the less wastewater and runoff will ultimately end up in the ocean.

8. Use durable light bulbs. Greenhouse gas emissions are reduced by using energy-efficient light bulbs.

9. Use your voice: Your voice is powerful. Speak up, talk to everyone, and let your voice be heard. Encourage others to change for the better as well.

10. Recycle: This reduces the amount of waste you produce.

11. Make a net zero hotel booking
Choose a low carbon footprint hotel**. Staze** is a hotel booking platform where you can make net zero hotel bookings in every city on the planet at no extra cost. You can make environmentally conscious decisions by comparing the carbon footprint of hotels like you compare price, and every booking is automatically offset.

Here are a few reasons why we should be environmentally conscious.

Trees

which are an important component of the ecosystem, contribute significantly to the creation of shade on the ground, which helps to keep the climate cool.

The environment

Contributes to ecosystem protection: Ecosystems are intricately intertwined. Changes to the ecosystem put a number of species in danger of becoming extinct, making environmental protection necessary.

Forests

Provide the raw materials for a variety of consumer goods: The management of forests ensures that these natural resources are accessible and used sustainably. Forests are an important component of the environment and contribute to the supply of a variety of raw resources.

Give back to your generation:

One thing you can provide to future generations is a healthy environment. If you put more emphasis on giving than receiving, you will be happier in life. You improve the quality of life for everyone on the world by taking good care of the environment. Also, you contribute to the greater quality of life of others and yourself.

Species

The environment is essential for the existence of many species; hence, the more the ecosystem is destroyed, the more animals perish. The majority of animal species are in danger of going extinct as the ecosystem deteriorates.

Humanity

Is protected by protecting the environment: One of the most dangerous elements harming the environment is pollution. It has an impact on food quality, causing harmful compounds to be consumed.

People

Have a moral responsibility to protect nature and its features: People are in charge of looking after the environment.

Trees

An important component of the environment, are essential for replenishing aquifers. Forests act as huge sponges, collecting runoff rather than letting it roll across the surface.
